Gothic bedroom decorating is amazing for the simple reason that no two Goth bedrooms ever end up even looking remotely similar. Only the Gothic architectural elements remain a standard feature of the design, which could imitate anything from the top of a cathedral to the bottom of a cold, stone-walled dungeon. Unlike other decorating trends, where collections and main accents are used for inspiration to create a theme, most Goths are able to portray an overall dark setting with no single featured element. They can also incorporate more than one style in their designs (usually era-based), such as Gothic Victorian, Gothic Steampunk or Gothic Oriental.
In this article, I broke up several Gothic bedroom themes and offer a few suggestions on items to incorporate in your new design. You don't have to keep them in the bedroom either...

ReplyDeleteBravo! Wanted 2 offer u a thnx. Was stuck w/ my decorating. I like originality & being different. I didnt use ur ideas, but they triggered some of own, gave me color schemes & offered sites for furniture. Thnx again. My first home will look awsome when I'm finished! There aren't many pix of decor...perhaps I will post mine.
