Gothic Haunted Forest Bedroom Theme

It's been a while since I've created a new bedroom theme. This Gothic haunted forest bedroom theme is one of my new favorite creations because it's based on my Gothic Halloween wedding decorations. Each room designed with these theme ideas should not look similar once you include your personal furniture, bedding, curtains, and art styles. It's versatile enough to be modern or traditional and has just a touch of darkness to insure that all the spooks fit in nicely...

Gothic Table Settings?

I compiled resources for the most "Gothic" dishes I could possibly stretch the imagination to incorporate into a dark home here:
Gothic Dishes.

Black ceramics, red and purple glass, goblets, chalices, table accessories...what do you use for dinner and tableware? Are you stuck passing out spiderweb and bat-shaped plastic Halloween plates? lol

Gothic Masquerade Bedroom Theme

I love to promote the cultural and artistic sides of Gothic, because I'm inspired by dark romantic art, music, architecture, and design. It's too effortless and uncreative to paint walls black and hang up a hundred posters for your Gothic room. You can only sleep in a coffin made for one and surround yourself in gravestones until you hit your mid 20's, get married, and have to share your room. ;-)

I created this Gothic Masquerade Bedroom to capture a dramatic and romantic bedroom theme that would appeal to couples and for those who are looking for something unique to complement their eerie collectibles. And if I've done my job correctly, it'll have you singing your own opera when you piece your version of the room theme together...

Goth Bedroom Themes

Gothic bedroom decorating is amazing for the simple reason that no two Goth bedrooms ever end up even looking remotely similar. Only the Gothic architectural elements remain a standard feature of the design, which could imitate anything from the top of a cathedral to the bottom of a cold, stone-walled dungeon. Unlike other decorating trends, where collections and main accents are used for inspiration to create a theme, most Goths are able to portray an overall dark setting with no single featured element. They can also incorporate more than one style in their designs (usually era-based), such as Gothic Victorian, Gothic Steampunk or Gothic Oriental.

In this article, I broke up several Gothic bedroom themes and offer a few suggestions on items to incorporate in your new design. You don't have to keep them in the bedroom either...
